Becoming Beauty! Last Call - Musician Retreat!

What is new with BEAUTY in the Diocese of Bridgeport?!?! Come check it out!

“Believe that as the bee having gathered the dew of heaven and the sweets of earth from the flowers, and converted them into honey carries it safely to its hive, so the priests having taken from the altar His Body, the Son of God, the Saviour of the world, Virgin born, coming forth as a flower from the soil of humanity, feeds your body and soul with this Bread of sweetness…Therefore communicate as often as you have permission, and remember that as the hares amidst our snowy mountains grow white from living in the snow, so by perpetually worshipping and adoring beauty, goodness, and purity in this Divine Sacrament, you too will become beautiful, good, and pure.”

St. Francis De Sales, Introduction to the Devout Life

We are given the greatest gift of beauty in the Sacrament of Beauty, the Most Holy Eucharist, Beauty Himself. As we are disposed to, we should receive him as often as possible for as St. Augustine said, “We become what we eat,” if we consume that which is Beautiful, we too become beautiful!

Speaking of gift and beauty, LAST CALL for our retreat for liturgical musicians!
